Learning And Experiance

They were given a detailed corporate presentation on Bisleri and covered the
entire spectrum of brand’s history and its current product range in addition
to market dynamics of packaged mineral water. They were briefed about the
production process, quality control, HR practices and other management
concepts being used to run the factory visited and various other units
successfully.

Students were taken around the whole factory and all processes were
explained to them in detail by a special team of senior engineers. They were
shown the water treatment plant; the bottling plant and the area were the
minerals are added to the well-purified water.

Students were allowed to interact and ask questions to the Production


Manager and the Quality Incharge. The Q&A followed with a Quiz on the
factory visit and about the brand Bisleri. Students who answered all the
questions correctly were given gifts by the company.

The industry visit was considered a good learning experience by


management students as they could see for themselves management in
action at a manufacturing plant and how the manufacturing operations helps
in delivering quality products as required by the market to build a successful
brand, such as Bisleri.
