“Love” has varied meanings, more than 30 according to several dictionaries.

years ago, it was known as ‘leubh’ to describe care and desire. In old English it was
called lufu, to describe “deep affection”. “Fallen in love” began in 1423. It became
associated with sex in late 17th century. New meanings of love are still being created.
Whatever the meaning, love is least understood in the emotional content.
