environment to support the academic and social
success of ALL students.

behaviors in schools, and increase productive
academic time during the school day.

Recognition System
•A recognition system has been established to recognize
students who demonstrate the behavior expectations.

oSOAR Bucks are given by any school staff to students who

demonstrate these expectations.
oClassroom Incentives

Students will have the opportunity to…

1. Receive verbal and non-verbal praise on a daily basis
2. Have their name drawn for prizes at Monthly
Character Boot Camp
3. Attend a PBS “Big Event” at the end of the quarter

As a part of the “Together We SOAR” team, you are a
valuable partner in making this work!

•Discuss the matrix with your child.

•Ask them if they’ve earned any SOAR Bucks and how they
earned them.
•Give us your input as to how our system is working.

We recognize the importance of working as partners with

families and want your input and involvement as we strive
to create the best possible school experience for your
