The one:campaign is about bringing Christians together to work as one church to reach one school through a
series of ͞one͟ actions. First go to www.didyouhearmacomb.com to find out when & where a gathering is
happening on your campus, or if you͛ll start a new one. If you͛re starting one, set a day, time, & place for your
first meeting. Get the word out. Then, meet together daily & commit to͙
1)c u cGather with other Christians every day to pray for your school. Personally commit to praying for
specific friends throughout this time.
2)c c Talk about ways you can show love to your school. Plot goodness together by thinking
of one simple way you can show love to the friends you͛re praying for.
3)c Have a conversation with a friend each day this week. Ask what͛s been going on in their
life or what they believe. Listen. Find common ground.
è c Invite your friend to take a step in their spiritual journey. à

Maybe it's an invitation to coffee &
more conversation, to check out a video or your church's facebook page, to a Sunday night or Sunday
morning service, to hang with your friends or small group, or to serve with you. You may even want to
invite them into your school͛s one movement or a 50 Days of New event. If the conversation goes really
well, you could invite them to follow Jesus!c

one:gatherings are approximately 10-15 minutes long. Keep in mind that the movement has two focuses ʹ
prayer and accountability. Spend the first 5 minutes of your time together in prayer for your school. Look to

"# c #cwill find out beforehand or ask if there is anyone who would like to share a story of
the previous days͛ successes, challenges, etc. Then, follow up this time by asking if everyone present
completed the three ͞one͟ challenges the day before. A simple ͞yes͟ or ͞no͟ answer is fine ʹ however, either

'c%" cTake out your one:campaign card. Read through each of the challenges, beginning with something
like, ͞As one church working together to reach one school, today we commit to͙͟ (Read the challenges.)
Then, go around the circle, giving each person an opportunity to speak out loud the first name of one person
they will be focusing on that day. (This is not a gossip time ʹ it͛s the simple stating of a first name.) Remind
everyone what you are committing to TODAY, even if you didn͛t yesterday.
cYou may want to close your time with a short prayer, blessing, or motivational/missional verse from
the Bible to reflect on throughout the day. Ask your student lead or campus point where these are available if
you͛d like to use them.

Regional Directors will, in many cases, be functioning as campus points as well. The regional director is
responsible for 3-4 school campus movements. Ideally, the director is able to be present at each school͛s
campus gathering at least once per week. The regional director is first and foremost a leadership coach for
campus points. In addition to functioning as campus point, the regional director will:
ðc Know when & where the campus gatherings happen at all schools in your region.
ðc Be present at your schools at least once per week.
ðc Be in regular contact with campus points ʹ at least once per week.
ðc Post leadership insights & training on the website.
ðc Collaborate on daily blessing/missional verse for use at gatherings.
ðc Meet weekly with other directors at the regional network.
ðc Plan & coordinate at least one event for the 50 Days of New, let the network and campus points know
about it, and distribute any promotional materials. Find a way to creatively communicate the gospel at
the event.
ðc Connect new students. Be in contact with other regional directors to plug in new students at churches,
or point new students at churches toward gatherings.

A campus point person is primarily responsible for leading student leads and the overall health of the campus
movement. Think of yourself as a coach or guide. There may be more than one campus point at a school, so
get to know each other and work together, or rotate. Campus Points will be present at the campus gathering
on many, if not most, days ʹ though likely not all.
ðc Know when & where the campus gatherings happen at your school.
ðc Be present at least once per week.
ðc Be in regular contact with student leads ʹ at least once per week via text/facebook, etc. Hang out or
get lunch sometime.
ðc Discuss what͛s going well & what isn͛t working. Find out how you can help.
ðc Collect stories and make sure they͛re told. Encourage students to be posting their story on the website
and sharing at the gathering. Remember, ͞stories͟ don͛t have to be ͞converts.͟ Maybe someone had
a conversation who didn͛t think they could, or learned something while they were sharing. Whatever
God is doing in their life & through the movement is a story worth telling.
ðc Hold student leads accountable for the leadership of their gathering. Run through the schedule with
them quickly before the gathering, or via text/facebook the night before. Ask if they͛re doing the
challenges personally.
ðc Ensure campus gathering is aware of all events happening that day/week on www.50daysofnew.com
or other regional gatherings. Bring promo materials.

The student lead is the leader of the one:campaign on your campus. There may be several of you working
together in this role. Ultimately, the student lead is responsible for the organization, leadership, and
accountability of the one:campaign.
&c ) ccWhen & where does your campus movement meet? How can you make sure every
Christian at your school is aware & part of your gathering?
£c # Take the lead at your campus gathering. You may want to͙
ðc Text or facebook friends to let them know when you͛re meeting.
ðc Talk with other Christian organizations/clubs on campus. Get them on board.
ðc Talk to teachers, administrators, or coaches. Can you get publicity for one?
ðc Keep an eye on ˜˜˜

cYou͛ll be able to find leadership tips & stories from
your friends. Bring these stories to your group for the one minute story, or ask that person to
share at your gathering.
ðc Take leadership in how your gathering spends its time. Start promptly with prayer by taking the
lead or asking someone in advance to do so. Make sure you or someone else you͛ve prepared is
ready to close after about 5 minutes. You͛ll also need to know about stories (on the website or
through conversation) and prepare who is sharing, as well as read the challenges and direct the
questions. You͛ll also be the one closing your group & inviting people back again the next day.
(See the schedule above.)
ðc Get names and numbers for any new people at your gathering if possible.
ðc Spread the word for all 50 Days of New events at your school.
ºc " * ccRemember that this isn͛t a movement that exists for itself. You͛re on a mission
together to reach your friends & your school. You͛ll work closely with "c cto take
responsibility for holding your gathering accountable. Make sure the challenges, reminders, &
questions are a part of your gathering daily, & listen closely to answers. You͛ll also be modeling this by
challenging yourself to participate and grow in ways you haven͛t before. In the case that someone is
consistently attending your gathering but not personally participating in the challenges, pull them aside
sometime to ask how you can help. Keep in close contact with your "c con accountability.
