TEXTURE
Texture is the surface quality of an object – smooth, rough, bumpy, etc. In 2 dimensional
work texture is implied; in 3 dimensional work texture is actual. Duplicating texture in a
painting or drawing adds a sense of realism and authenticity to the artwork.
