Arrival-8:15am Interest Centers areas. Limited Centers. Child directed.

Clean-up Children prepare for breakfast, wash hands, set-up

8:15-8:30am table, etc.
8:30-9:00am Enjoy meal, children talking with teacher(s) and
Breakfast classmates.
9:00-9:15am Prayer, Bible verse, songs, count friends, Letters,
Circle Time numbers shapes, Puppet and/or story
9:15am- Running, Climbing, sliding, games, explore the
10:00am Outdoors earth, sand, water play
10am-11:10am Planned Activities/Center Time: Art, blocks,
Learning cooking, writing, reading, science, math and/or
Centers/ Dramatic play Activities.

11:10-11:30 Transition Clean-up/Cots/wash hands/prepare for lunch

11:00-11:30
Lunch Enjoy mealtime, teacher encourages conversations.
Etc
12-2:30pm Rest on cots or look at books quietly. Children that
Quiet Time awake at 2:00pm write in journals,
diapers.
2:00-2:30 Journal/Literacy Write in Journals or story

2:45-3:00 Snack Time Enjoy mealtime, teacher encourages
conversations
3:00-3:15 Recall/Wrap-up day Recall/discuss activities, story, etc.
3:15-4:00 Outdoors/Games Outdoors for at least 1-hour and/or Indoor Games
Ages 2-5yrs combined. (4-4:15 read story)
4:15-5:15pm Free Choice Art, blocks, reading, science, math and/or
Activities Dramatic play centers
5:15-5:30 Clean-up 5:30 children go over to school-age class for
stories until pick-up time. 6:00pm- Center closed.
• When the weather does not permit outdoor play, the children engage in movement activities
indoors from 10:15-10:45am.
• Diapering is on a individual schedule
• Transitions- In between every change of routine, give children a verbal 5-minute warning. This
notifies them of a change in activity.
• Children must use a hand sanitizer when coming in from outdoor time and wash hands upon
arrival each morning.
