My dream vacation

I have always thought that if I had enough money I would go to Egypt.

It is located in Africa.

I think the best time of the year to visit Egypt is during winter. The
temperature is not that hot at that time and there’s no wind to bring
dust and sand, like during spring time.

I love their culture. Their official language is Standard Arabic, but the
Egyptian Arabic is used in their daily lives. Most of the people are
Muslims and they dress funny. Some of the women wear this long dress
called “galabaya” and they cover their faces with veils. Even though I
don’t agree with this kind of behavior I think it’s an interesting fact.

The first place I’d love to visit is Giza. It’s really famous due to its
pyramids. I think the Keops Pyramid and the Sphinx Monument are the
most popular buildings to visit.

I also would like to take a camel ride and maybe get to go out to the
desert and visit an oasis. It must be really amazing to get to do that
even though I’ve heard that camels spit!

I think it would be awesome to take a boat ride on The Nile River. Being
able to swim in the Red Sea would also be amazing. Due to my religion
I’ve heard stories about the Red Sea since I was little, so I believe that
having the chance to actually be there would be an incredible experience
for me.

I would stay at a hotel in Cairo City. I’ve heard night life in Cairo is great
and waking up and seeing the mosques and the minarets in the city
must be and impressive view. Mosques are Muslim temples and
minarets are towers with balconies in those temples.

I’ve also heard that museums in Cairo are absolutely fantastic. If I

travel to Egypt I would love visiting each one of them.

I’d like to visit Alexandria. It has beautiful beaches and tourist resorts
and casinos so I think I’d like to stay there for a few days and maybe
gamble some money.

Visiting these historic places with such an ancient culture is really

interesting for me. Being able to see what the human mind can create
would be the experience of a life time.

But most important I’d like to be there with someone I love. Sharing this
experience with that special person would be the best part of my
vacation!
