Designed for the enthusiast who wants to start with the bare essentials, this new rifle features a round, lightweight,
adaptable handguard with a full-length Picatinny rail at the 12:00 position and a new, A2-style pistol grip with finger groove.
It still features Ruger’s patent-pending two-stage piston and multi-stage regulator, but the SR-556E has one 30-round Magpul
PMAG™ magazine, a Nickel-Teflon coated transfer rod, a black anodized barrel and comes without sights and handguard covers.
