4-PORT ADSL2/2+ WIRELESS-G MODEM ROUTER

RECONFIGURING TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET USING THE WAN PORT (ETH PORT 4)

A. CONNECT THE CABLES

1. Connect the DSL605EW’s Ethernet Port 4 to the wall outlet

2. Connect your computer to any of the Ethernet Ports 1-3 of the DSL605EW

3. Connect the power adapter to the DSL605EW's power adapter jack

B. RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULTS

1. Locate the reset buttonhole behind the DSL605EW

2. Use a pin to press the button for 10 seconds until the Power indicator turns red then green

3. You may reconfigure the DSL605EW when the front indicators are stable

C. CONNECT TO THE INTERNET

1. Open your Internet browser

2. On the address box, type http://192.168.1.1

Note:

If there’s a prompt for login, try the following

Username: admin
Password: admin

or
Username: admin
Password: (no password)

3. On the main page, click on Advanced

4. On the left panel menu, Click WAN and select 4th option quickstart or GPON or any name.

5. Click on Delete

6. Mouse over WAN and click on New Connection

7. Select Ethernet on the Connection Interface

8. Input the username and password from the service provider

9. Click on Apply then click on Connect, will successfully connect to the internet.

Note:

If the connection attempt fails, double-check the username and password from the service
provider.

Ensure that the cable on Ethernet port 4 is securely inserted.
