Preliminarily, check up the toe-in of wheels of the first and second axles. Adjust, if need be. 2. Place the truck on a hard and horizontal level ground. Take the protective disks off the wheels of the first and second axles. 3. Set wheels of the first axle into position of straightforward motion, 4. Apply a special ruler (with two stops for wheel hub centers) as it is shown on pictures. Measure the span A first for one and another wheel on front axle, ‘The span difference after measurement should not be more than 2 mm. Otherwise obtains the necessary span A rotating the steering wheel. 5, Measure the span B for one and another wheel on second axle. The span difference after measurement should not be more than 2mm, Otherwise obtains the necessary span B as follows: Scale with stops ~ Loosen the nuts and bolts of intermediate rod ends; - Rotating the intermediate rod, adjust the position of wheels on second axle so that difference of B spans became not more than 2 mm; with this, do not change the position of the first axle. - After adjustment has completed tighten nuts and bolts of intermediate rod ends with torque - 7,8...10 kgf m, B-A=1..3 mm - Make span A and B measurement between dises edges in front and rear area of wheel (measurement should be done on a wheels center level); - Difference between B and A span should equal 1 - 3 mm (not more); - Necessary adjustment by rotating the steering rod after loosening of nuts and bolts on rod ends.
