An animal like me

With characteristics like mine

I can name many
All those animals would sure be fine

But now I’d only give five

Because I practically live in a hive.
The five best of the best,
Deciding would sure be a contest.

First of the five is a monkey.

Who, likes to eat a lot
Is smart and naughty
And doesn’t want to rot in a single spot.

Next is a cat
Who, doesn’t like rats
With fish as her dish
Sure enough granted is her wish.

Parrots I admire
With talking as a hobby
Makes sure to achieve what they desire
But still acts humbly

A dog is what I propose

Because good is my nose
Loyal is my name
Being sensitive is my game
 Last is an ant
Who, works really hard
To laze around, it can’t
Because there’s food to guard

Now I’ve given the five

The end has arrived
Time to wave good-bye
And give other books a try

Last is an elephant
Whose heart is as big as its size
Seldom does it cry or rant
With it, surely your mood would rise
