the world third largest soybean
exporter, cuhivated 19 mi llion
hectares of soybean accounting
for 85 . 7 percent of tota l
cultivated area in 2009, it could

hectares (45.7 mill ion acres)
accounti ng for 74.7 percent of
total cult ivated area because
of the scarce rain in 2010.
