Xbox 360 Repair

Xbox 360 Repair -

The Unavoidable
Truth
Just 3 short years ago, the infamous
Microsoft Company released their upgraded
version of the Xbox and called it the Xbox 360,
along with its super graphics and killer network
connections that connected players from
around the world, it also came with a series of
problems as well. If we only knew then, what
we Xbox 360 owners are experiencing now, we
might have re-considered and bought the
Nintendo Wii instead or maybe not! :-)

On top of the constant Xbox 360 repair,

along with the many 360 owners that complain
of extreme overheating problems and a
multitude of different hardware failures as well.

The fact is, 7 out of 10 people who own an

Xbox 360 are going to experience a lot of Xbox
360 repair and that is no joke it's become
quite unavoidably, in fact almost 40% of new
Xbox 360 owners expect it to happen and know
the chances of it happening are not in their
favor, but because their loyal customers and
absolutely love the Xbox, are willing to take the
chance.

Let the Console Breath

& You'll Be Rewarded
Let's talk about the hardware problem that
leads to the 3 rings of death, (overheating), the
one major cause that leads all Xbox 360's into a
overheating frenzy is lack of air, most owners,
either hide their consoles locked away in a air
tight cupboard or somewhere, laying flat on its
surface, not allowing the fans to take in proper
amounts of air.

Located on the inside of the Xbox 360, you'll

find a circular fan and when the machine is
turned on, that fan turns at a speed tuned just
right, keeping the motherboard (main circuit
board) cool at all times, now the main problem
cause of overheating which leads to the 3 red
light error, is the fact that they're not breathing
correctly, taking in the right amount of air.

If you look along side of your Xbox 360, you'll

see plenty of breathing holes, and if you keep
your console in an air tight cupboard or laying
down flat on its belly, the fans can't take in
the proper amount of intake, which is designed
to keep the console cool. The other
overheating issue is the AC Power Supply
block, which also has fans located on the
inside of it, so just like the Xbox 360 its self, it's
also recommended that you keep the power
supply bar located in a place where it can
breath and get the right amount of air to keep
it cool.

On a recent press release, Microsoft stated that

their power supply for the Xbox 360 had a
energy deficiency, that causes the Xbox to
actually take in to much power at once, now I
don't know if this is actually true or not, but I
do know, that as long as you don't leave your
console on 24hrs a day and everything is
getting air as it's suppose too, you won't have
any major issues.

The good thing about Microsoft is, they repair

broken Xbox 360's under the 90 day warranty
at no cost, but charge $120.00 to repair out-of-
warranty Xbox 360's. July, 2007 Microsoft
extended that warranty to a new 3 year plan
for all Xbox 360 consoles with common
hardware failures.
