Moisture Barrier Bags Protect 3 Most Expensive Military Planes from Corrosion Posted by DanielA in Protective Packaging When

it comes to military packaging for planes, theres no cutting corners. The military uses our moisture barrier bags on these, the most expensive planes in history:

C17A Globemaster III: $328 million: This bad boy has moved herds of troops as well as humanitarian aid to Iraq and Afghanistan. Its capable of deploying over a hundred paratroopers at once. 190 of the C17-As are in service and have been since 1993.

F-22 Raptor: $350 million: This plane can fly long distances at supersonic speeds, avoid radar detection, and shoot down enemy missiles. Lockheed Martin touts it as the best combat plane in the world. And with this price tag, its also the most expensive.

B-2 Spirit: $2.4 Billion: Congress originally ordered 132 of these bombers, but they were so expensive they had to cut their order to 21. This bomber is practically impossible to detect, and since it came onto the scene in 1993, has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. These three planes are the most expensive. Its nice to know that they use the same volatile corrosion inhibitors you do for your Cessna.
