4. Client Meeting #1 w/ SMEs 4 hours (IT/TW, PM, AA): In this 1st client meeting we will cover what weve learned during the analysis phase and confirm that weve covered all necessary information and excluded any superfluous content. As main point of contact for eLD, the PM will be at all client meetings. Design 9.13 days 1. Write Learner Objectives 1 Day (LID, LGD/TA): Our Lead Instructional Designer along with our Training Advisor will focus on creating quantifiable intended outcomes that participants will be able to imitate at the completion of the instructional sessions. 2. Client Sign Off Meeting #2 1 hour (LID, PM, AA): This will be a brief meeting for presenting our Learner Objectives to HCC for approval. Weve built 2 days into our project plan to allow HCC time to analyze these objectives and to give eLD time to make any requested revisions. 3. Create Instructional Strategy 2 days (LID, LGD/TA, IT/TW): The lead creative and technical members of eLD will gather to sequence and group material, choose presentation methods, and determine how to measure success through assessments. Decisions regarding the course formatsuch as the type and order of activitieswill also be addressed in this phase. 4. Create Design Document 3 days (LID, IT/TW, AA): Tools and technologies will be meshed with learning goals as eLD creates a high-level overview of the training solution that will a description of the learning methodologies, media choices, sequence of the objectives, and a description of the instructional materials, e.g. activities and assessments. 5. Client Sign Off Meeting #3 2 hours (LID, PM, AA): The Lead Instructional Designer will present the design document for HCCs approval. We have allowed 3 days for HCC to review and provide revision suggestions. Development 50 days During this phase, our team will create the actual learning environment. Some members may be present for the whole process, while others may be called in to accomplish certain tasks. 1. Create Prototype 5 days (LID, LGD/TA, IT/TW): The lead creative and technical members of eLD will gather to create a storyboard that show tests, images, layout, animations, and voiceover instructions. 2. Client Sign Off Meeting #4 2 hours (All but Graphic Designer I): Almost the entire team will be present for HCCs first visual inspection of the training program. We have allowed 2 days for HCC to review and to give eLD time to make any requested revisions. 3. Write Course Material 10 days (LID, IT/TW): Listed team members will author the course material. This is one of the largest tasks associated with the project, and our two primary team members involved in the creation of the instructional material will spend the bulk of their time on this task. 4. Write Assessments 2 days (LID, IT/TW): The course writing team members will collaborate to develop the assessments that will measure learner success on the training objectives. 5. Create Graphics 7 days (LGD/TA, GD): Once the course material has been finalized, the entire graphics team will create the graphics for the instructional materials and match it to HCCs current visual aesthetic.

Questions
to
be
asked
will
include:

2. Client Meeting 2 hours (AA, PM, IT/TW): In this meeting, the team will discuss the results of the first evaluation and make any revisions, additions or changes deemed necessary. 3. Evaluation #2 3 days (AA, LID, LGD/TA, IT/TW): The next evaluation will occur 60 days after the last client meeting and will pose the same questions. The results of each evaluation will be compared based on any changes that have been made and will take into account the length of time that the program has been active at HCC. 4. Client Meeting 2 hours (AA, PM, IT/TW): In this meeting, the team will discuss the results of the second evaluation and make any revisions, additions or changes deemed necessary after discussion is complete. 5. Four Month Retention Check 3 days (LGD/TA, IT/TW, AA): 120 days later, the first retention check will occur. Tests will be administered to determine if participants retained the information taught during the ethics training sessions. 6. Retention Check Report #1 1 day (AA, IT/TW): eLD will issue a report to HCC with the results of the first retention check. Based on the results, revisions to the program can be discussed. 7. Eight Month Retention Check 3 days (LGD/TA, IT/TW, AA): 120 days later, the second retention check will occur. Tests will be administered to determine information retention. 8. Retention Check Report #1 1 day (AA, IT/TW): eLD will issue a report to HCC with the results of the second retention check. Based on the results, revisions to the program can be discussed. ROI: The Continuing Value of Your Instructional Materials As HCC considers its options for instructional renovation, eLD expects positive financial and behavioral returns on our solution. Though short-term expenses may be off-putting at first, the long-term savings in training and legal costs and employee productivity make our solution a sound investment for the future. The training program we propose provides technologically relevant online delivery methods that update with advancements while providing the mobility and flexibility that your previous training methods did not. With better courses and delivery comes better productivity: employees will need to spend less company time in training sessions, and HCC will not need to spend money on trainers, external facilities, and repeated delivery of the content. The ethics training materials will be available at leisure for employees to refresh their memory and for HCC to provide continued support to its managerial staff.
The instructional materials, media, and delivery platform eLD recommends will set the cornerstone for growing the training catalog at HCC. Articulate is a platform that can be used with most training needs, and can therefore allow resources typically allocated to expensive learning management systems to be used elsewhere. Our solution has longevity; Articulate requires low yearly fees, and the physical materials we will provide ensure that our course is always accessibleonline and offline. Additionally, synthesis of the course material supports better adherence to ethical procedures and promotes a culture of self-directed learningsaving HCC valuable resources and upholding its tradition of ethical responsibility.
