BCIM Configuration
A maximum of BCIMs can be configured as 2. The two BCIMs work in active/standby mode, and they are configured in slots 0 and 1 or 2 and 3. If only one BCIM is configured, it should be in slot 0.

CE Pool
A group of cascading and cooperating CCPMs or a single CCPM/CECM A CECM can only perform as CE pool independently. Multiple sector carriers can be configured in a CE pool, and a sector carrier can be configured in only one CE pool. It is recommended that sector carriers that work at the same frequency point in the same local cell should be configured in the same CE pool.

CCPM/CECM configuration principles when the CRDM is not configured:

The CCPMs numbered 0 and 1, 2 and 3, and 4 and 5 can perform CE pools independently or jointly. The CCPMs/CECMs numbered 6, 7, 8, and 9 can only perform CE pools independently, and they can be used for ODU cascading only. When the CRDM is not configured, a single RF module in the main cabinet supports only three carriers. If ODU cascading is used, four carriers can be supported. um rial

2pt

CCPM/CECM configuration principles when the CRDM is configured:

The CCPMs numbered 09 can form CE pools freely. The CECMs can only form CE pools independently. The CCMPs/CECMs numbered 69 can be connected to ODUs or RF modules in the main cabinet. The switching function of the CRDM enables multiple CCPMs to share resources. Different CCPMs can flexibly form multiple CE pools according to actual requirements. The CE pool used by a carrier is not related to the position of the CCPM or CECM. The resources used by all the carriers are output and allocated by the CRDM. The RF modules in the main cabinet of the BTS3606E and cascading ODUs support the four-carrier configuration. When the CRDM is configured, QCK1CCPMs cannot exist in CE pools.
