We thank you God for the love that binds us together. We thank you Spirit for inspiring our life. We thank you Christ for preparing our way. All that is and ever shall be gives you thanks and praise.

You call us your friends and give us your peace. And even when we waste your creation and squander your gifts you do not abandon us. You give us more than we can imagine. You come to us in Jesus Christ whose love cannot be stopped by death, and whose life opens a new way in a new creation.

Before his friends betrayed him and he was killed, Jesus took bread, gave thanks, broke it and said: Eat this bread and remember me. Then he took wine and said: Drink this new covenant, my life given to you, and remember me.

Of all that we have we offer this bread and wine. Open our eyes to see your life given to us in Jesus your servant. Fill us with your Spirit, that we may serve as Jesus serves us. Send us out into the world to show your love to all.
