BEERNAKED 3: FREEDOM.UNITY.CHANGE.KEMBOT.

Guest will dance to their rhythm, drink to their hearts content, and party all night to celebrate with Babaylan as a vanguard of freedom and equality for LGBT rights in the campus and in Southern Tagalog. The first BEERNAKED party was the launching of UPLB Babaylan. Now, BEERNAKED is a celebration of another successful year for the UPLB BABAYLAN and our way of giving back to the community that has supported us through the years.

Together with the LGBT community in the Philippines we pin our hopes on HB1483 or the Anti-discrimination Bill of BayanMuna Rep. Teddy Casio. The party is a support to the pending bill through renewing our commitment to support the bill, a signature campaign for HB1483, and a pledge of support from our straight allies.

A party for Unity.

Now, more than ever, the LGBT community needs to unite in the fight for LGBT rights. The diversity of the LGBT community is not a hindrance to the struggle, rather, it is our uniqueness encompassed by the wonderful colors of the LGBT rainbow that strengthens us. The event will showcase a wall exhibit of the LGBT struggle, a history of bravery, which aims to inform and educate our guests. After the successful UPLB PRIDE MARCH, this party is a toast for a united stand of UPLB and the whole Southern Tagalog in asserting for a SHAMELESS FEARLESS EQUALITY for everyone.

A party for Change.

This years BEERNAKED showcases a new line of program that includes fashion show, freedom wall, LGBT themed poem readings, photo booth, and etc. that will entertain, educate, and inform them of our continuing struggle for freedom. The entire program is geared to breaking stereotypes and sowing seeds of hope for our renewed commitment for LGBT rights. It is a time for freedom from discrimination, a time for change.

A call to Kembot!
The LGBT community does not claim for special rights. We only demand the equal enjoyment of human rights. Beernaked 3 will be a call for action from the LGBT community and our straight allies through the passage of HB1483. Also, the proceeds of the program will go to our education and information campaigns in UPLB and in neighboring communities. UPLB BABAYLAN has been steadfast in its commitment to forward LGBT rights and rid schools and communities from ignorance.
