    The Tuyere pulling equipment has been designed to extract the conical water-cooled Tuyere nose from the blast furnace by means of a hydraulically powered hook.     TUYERE HANDLING EQUIPMENT


    The Tuyere pulling equipment has been designed to extract the conical water-cooled Tuyere nose from the blast furnace by means of a hydraulically powered hook mounted on a forklift. The Tuyere pull hook is mounted on a combined hydraulic jack with hammer system. During extraction the hook pulls the conical Tuyere nose from the Blast furnace without pulling loads on the forklift. When severe resistance is encountered the hammer function combined with pulling forces will separate the Tuyere nose from the conical holder. The Tuyere pulling equipment design is robust in order to operate under severe conditions and has proven to be an excellent help to enlighten and improve labour conditions.
