Workshop #3 9th graders in town hall for first hour Y2: planning workshop #9 10th grade and Y1:

RA That the Science of Cartography is Limited FFW: What should a map of BHSEC and the neighborhood include so that 9th graders can get to know BHSEC? In small groups, create maps for new students (faculty will OK before they are distributed). If time, also write letters about what students should know (and for fun could share stories about how older students know this again, vet letters before distribution through public sharing). HW: Nietzsche On Truth and Lies in the Extra-Moral Sense p. 20-21 Tri-column Response Journal: Choose two excerpts (phrase to a sentence or two). Copy in left hand column with page number. In middle column, give a try at interpreting what Nietzsche is saying. In third column, respond (treat as prompt and give yourself 5 minutes to respond as you do in a FFW, writing immediately and without stopping. Response can be a series of questions and tangents).
