Connecting SAP BI with SAP ERP, SAP CRM Procedure

Choose Modeling. Choose Source Systems. Select SAP in the window on the right. Choose the Context menu (right mouse click). Choose Create. Make the following entries: Field Target computer (server) System ID System number Background system user in Entry Server of the SAP ERP or SAP CRM system System ID of the SAP ERP or SAP CRM system System number of the SAP ERP or SAP CRM system source RFCUSER welcome RFCUSER (can not be changed in this activity) welcome

Password for source system Background user in BI Password for BI user 9. 10. 11. 12.

On the dialog box Please log on as an administrator in the following screen choose Continue. Log on to the Source System with your administrator user. Choose the correct client. On the dialog box New Source System Connection choose Continue. On the Replicate Metadata dialog box, choose Only Activate.

If we need to create logical systems,assign logical systems,creating an RFC user,we need to do separate tasks for them using transaction codes(SPRO,SCC4,SU01)..
