PADI TecRec Tec 40 Diver Tec 45 Diver Tec 50 Diver Sidemount

For all technical diver training, the following applies: You will be required to (not an exhaustive list): Read, complete and sign a Liability Release and Assumption of Risk for Technical Diving before any inwater training. Gain physicians approval for diving on the supplied Medical Statement. Maintain appropriate insurance cover.

Refrain from tec diving outside of training until you are fully qualied and certied. Sign a learning agreement. Maintain adequate physical and mental health. Accept the risks of this type of diving. TEC 40 DIVER EQUIPMENT LIST HAVE NEED

Cylinders: any one of the following options A single with dual (H or Y) valve A single with a pony. Pony has same gas and capacity of 850 litres. Back mounted twins with isolation manifold. Two side mounted cylinders (sidemount conguration) Two complete regulators, one with a two metre hose for air sharing and one with SPG. Sidemount or pony conguration: each regulator must have an SPG marked and carried in such a way to avoid confusion. Stage/deco cylinder with attachment hardware and a single second stage with SPG. BCD with stage attachment rings. Two dive computers, or one computer with a backup timer and depth gauge with dive tables.
Additional Equipment: Exposure suit (preferably a drysuit) appropriate for the environment and dive duration. Weight system (quick release). Jon line if appropriate to environment. Inatable signal tube, whistle or other visual/audible surface signal device. A DSMB can double for this. Reel and DSMB or lift bag (ideally self-sealing). Knife/cutting device and backup. Slates Backup mask (optional) Compass Underwater light - primary and back up - if appropriate to environment. Backup buoyancy control, such as drysuit or double wing - a lift bag is not suitable for this purpose. If using lightweight conguration way may use our discretion on back up buoyancy.

TEC 45 AND TEC 50 DIVER EQUIPMENT LIST HAVE NEED

Cylinders: any one of the following options Back mounted twins with isolation manifold of at least 12 litres capacity (x2) Two side mounted cylinders (sidemount conguration) All cylinder capacities need to be suitable for you and for supply of air to team mates. Two complete regulators, one with a two metre hose for air sharing and one with SPG. Sidemount: each regulator must have an SPG marked and carried in such a way to avoid confusion, at least one of the regulators must have the two metre hose. Tec 45: 1 x O2 clean stage/deco cylinder with attachment hardware and a single Nitrox compatible second stage with SPG. Tec 50: 2 x O2 clean stage/deco cylinder with attachment hardware and a single Nitrox compatible second stage with SPG. Tec diving BCD (harness/wing type) with stage attachment rings. Two multi-gas enriched air dive computers, or one multi-gas enriched air computer with a backup single gas computer with dive tables, or one single gas enriched air dive computer and a back up timer and depth gauge with dive tables.
