If Control Valve is installed in a horizontal position (direction of camshaft) the Sensor Paddle should be rotated away from the fabric and one can insert the stop pin into the drilling in the housing. This allows the Sensor Paddle to lie against the stop pin.

Revolving the camshaft making sure that the red marks (of guide disk and housing) are corresponding. When installing the Control Valve it has to be placed that the fabric touches the middle of the Paddle and 16 zero position is achieved. (hint: for more aggressive and quicker reaction positioning further to top of Paddle, for more smooth and slower reaction positioning down to bottom of Paddle) Remove stop pin.

Recommended lubricant for Service Unit and Control Valve: Because the viscosity of the oil changes, oil appropriate to the operating area should be used. Hydraulic oil to DIN 51524-HLP of viscosity class ISO VG32 is recommended. These oils have a basic viscosity (at 40C) of 32 mm2/s and are suitable for use in the wet section.
