ARCH 599 INDEPENDENT THESIS PREPARATION PROCEDURES

Graduate students electing to undertake focused research on a student selected architectural issue register for ARCH 599 to prepare their thesis proposal. Preparation of the proposal is carried out in regular consultation with a supervising faculty member typically a member of their thesis committee. The Department of Architecture Thesis Proposal Review Committee reviews the final proposal for acceptance prior to registration for ARCH 700, Thesis. See Department of Architecture Thesis Guidelines for direction in preparing a thesis proposal. An entry code is required for registration in ARCH 599. To register for ARCH 599, please complete the form below. The entry code is issued only after the supervising faculty member(s) has agreed to supervise the preparation of the thesis proposal. In signing a proposal, the supervising faculty are committing to the study for no more than the specified quarter.
