Promotes excretion of chloride, potassium, magnesium, and bicarbonate. May Common side effects produce arteriolar dilation. Dizziness, drowsiness, lethargy, weakness, hypotension, anorexia, cramping, nausea, vomiting, hypokalemia, dehydration, hypercalcemia.
