As We Run... They Are Watching.

This message from Hebrews 12:1, 2 was a devotion message from our Sports Fest shared by a beloved teacher. As a bible student it inspired me that much and I believe it is necessary that every Christian realize this fact. We are in a race. The race of our Christian life is our race to fulfil our calling from the Lord. So as we run this race that the Lord has set before, we see these people around us. Some are cheering and some are booing. Different faces and different remarks from shouts and cheers but they all play an important role of this race. We run the race because of our Lord but we can never neglect those who cheers for us to keep on going. They are part of our race. We run the race because of Jesus but we cant despise those who discourage us, they make us stronger. We run the race and we cant say that we are only running for our Saviour, that He is our only reason why we run. We run as witness of the example of Jesus. Our race is to portray the race of Christ for us in Calvary. A race for others to see salvation, for others to see their way, for others to keep on running and for others to follow as an example. As Jesus have faithfully finished His race, we therefore as his saints are to mirror His race by His grace. Lets lay aside unnecessary weights of sin, patiently pursue the track that the lord has left for us to follow. God Bless You.
