The right against exploitation allows Indian citizens to stand up against any kind of exploitation that he/ she might be going through With exploitation, there has to be the victim opportunity, and circumstance for the manipulative situation to manifest. Exploitation takes place when our rights are violated either physically or mentally.

 Following the rescue of a minor domestic help from her house,

the Maharashtra Government on Tuesday filed cases against Bollywood actress Suchitra Krishnamurthy. Krishnamurthy and television star Laxmi had allegedly employed child labours. Labour Minister Nawab Malik told media persons on Tuesday afternoon that his department got information that the two actresses were employing minor girls as maids. The Minister Malik has initiated necessary proceedings against the two actresses. Suchitra is the former wife of noted director Shekhar Kapur .

CASE STUDY: 1 CHILD LABOUR CASE REGISTERED AGAINST SHEKHAR KAPUR'S EX-WIFE
The action comes barely three days after television actress Urvashi Dhanorkar was arrested Saturday for beating, burning and confining her 10-year old maid after she caught her "eating". Dhanorkar was bailed out hours after her arrest. Meanwhile, the victim, Rameshwari is now in a juvenile rescue home. The Child Labour Prevention Act, 1986, was amended October 2006 to ban employment of children under 14 as domestic servants and in dhabas, restaurants, hotels and other hospitality sectors. It makes their employment a punishable offence.

A former Oak Creek psychologist was found guilty of starting a sexual relationship with a longtime patient in 2005. Jeffrey Adam, 48, faces up to 7 1/2 years in prison for sexual exploitation by a therapist. His sentencing was set for Oct. 13. Adam was charged in August 2010. The victim, with whom he carried on a yearlong affair before she broke it off in 2006, reported Adam to authorities in March 2010 after she became convinced he was again having sexual contact with his patients.

A second former patient also testified that Adam had sexual contact with her in 2004, and two other former patients described what they considered inappropriate sexual comments from him during therapy. His attorney, Gerald Boyle, told jurors in closing arguments that jealousy drove the woman to destroy Adam, and said his client's testimony and office records showed the affair didn't start until after he had closed the woman's file, ending the therapist relationship.

Case study :2 Psychologist guilty in sexual exploitation case

The woman, a 40-year-old physical therapist, had been in near weekly counseling with Adam for about three years when he initiated sexual contact with her at a session in February 2005, after she told him she had filed for divorce from her husband. Adam and his wife, who acted as billing manager, opened Psychological and Counseling Services in 1992. He testified he is currently trying to get a license to practice in Nevada.
