    another. Data rates are often
    measured in megabits (million bits)
    or megabytes (million bytes) per
    second. These are usually
    abbreviated as Mbps and MBps,
    respectively.

    Defragmenting
    File Compression

    It is the technology for shrinking the size of a file so it


    takes up less space on the disk. This frees up space for
    more data and programs to reside on the disk.
