This letter is my official notice that I want to close my credit card account with ABN
Amro Bank.

I paid my credit card account's balance of Rs.10,000.00 with Cheque No.123456

dated 01st November 1973 from HDFC Bank. I have received confirmation from my
bank that this cheque has been cleared. I am also enclosing my destroyed credit
card.

To my knowledge, all my fiscal responsibilities with this credit card account have
been fulfilled. Therefore, please close my account and include a notation in the report
to the credit bureaus that the account was "closed by request of cardholder." Once
this is done, please send me written confirmation of the closure of my account,
in good standing and at my request.
