    I attended the online test of syntel, a few days ago. There were 50 logical and english questions to be solved in 50 mins. Most of them were easy. But time was the main factor. Out of 150, 17 got selected from my college. The test was held at acharya inst. Of technology. The GD and interview was about two weeks later at amc college of engg. Nearly 500 students from different college attended the interview.

    Hi Friends, I attended the online test of syntel, a few days ago. There were 50 logical and english questions to be solved in 50 mins. most of them were easy. but time was the main factor. out of 150 , 17 got selected from my college. The test was held at acharya inst. of technology. The GD and interview was about two weeks later at amc college of engg. nearly 500 students from different college attended the interview. I dont know how much of them got selected. First there was a GD round in which nearly 4 out of 17 were selected. Topics were general and easy. Then there was a combined HR & Technical interview. Two persons were in one pannel. My interview was in morning around 11. They asked me few questions as; P1; Whats the meaning of your name? Me: Replied asked about a quote with my name .replied that too P1: Why Syntel? Me: Replied P1: Why you want to shift from electrical to IT sector? Me; I am good at microcontrolers and C. P2: which Microcontroler you have studied? Me :8051 P2: asked 3 easy questoins based on features and crystal frequiencies. Me : Replied 2 of them corectly and one partialy. P2; what is Pointer in C? Me; Told it .and Explaiend it. P2; would you like to ask me something Me : If I am selected which Domain I am going to Work and am i free to choose my area of intrest. P2: no we are going to assign you the domain which we require you and it mostly depends on your skills. Me: asked their names. It was a plesent experience, both the HR were very friendly. 10 days later the result came ,2 out of 4 got selected. and i was one of the lucky among them. thank God. Have faith in god and best of luck to all.
