Families all over South Asia didnt receive sweaters or ties last Christmas. Instead, they received gifts that changed their lives. Satisfying Their Thirst Shikar and his family were constantly getting sick from the water sources in their village. There was hardly a week or month in which we did not have to visit a doctor and spend our hard-earned income on medicine, Shikar explained. My family and I were often

exposed to waterborne diseases because we had no choice but to use dirty and contaminated water from open wells for cooking and drinking. Shikar and his family suffered with stomach problems, jaundice, typhoid and diarrhea. And because necessity compelled them to use ponds, rivers and contaminated well water for bathing, they also suffered from skin infections. The doctors told them they needed to use a

PRAYER REQUESTS
FROM THE FIELD
Pray that God would use the Christmas Catalogue to give many opportunities for Dalits and low cast to hear the Gospel in Asia. Pray for the missing children of South Asia. Whether they are runaways, kidnapped or simply abandoned by one of their parents, they all suffer. Pray for Gospel for Asiasupported missionaries who are working with runaway children. Please pray for our National Missionaries that their efforts will bear much fruit. In addition, pray they would not get discouraged when the spiritual ground of their mission eld is difcult.

FOR OUR FAMILY

Pray for healing for Simons knee and strong health for our family. We would also appreciate prayers for spiritual encouragement from the Lord. We are in need of a new vehicle to replace our aging van. Pray that we will be able to sell our old van for a good price. Also pray that God would provide more reliable vehicle for us. The timing is perfect because we can use the funds from selling our van to help with upcoming medical bills. Pray that the many video projects I am working on would ultimately be used to bring the Gospel to the many who have never heard throughout Asia.
