Mr. Pezhman was a student in my graduate level Sound Systems of American English course at Temple University in Osaka. I was impressed with his diligence as a student and his thoroughness in preparation. His final materials development project showed me that he not only grasped the finer points of phonology, phonetics and prosody, he was able to apply this knowledge in a creative and meaningful way for classroom practice. In the context of this course I also observed him in action as a teacher and can see that he is a very capable classroom communicator and really cares a lot about his learners.
