    Cool runnings is a very funny family comedy based on a true story. Derice is the main character whos father was a Olympic runner. He also is a sprinter but didnt make the Jamaicans Olympic team so he persuades his friend and two other sprinters to be the first Jamaicans bobsled team. The main characters are Derice who is a sprinter who is desperate to go to the Olympics. Then there is Sanka who is Derices friend and a champion dirt car racer and Junior whose father is very rich and wants Junior to be a banker and yul who is really tuff and strong. The director is Jon Turteltaub who also made role of a lifetime.
