Society of Saint John of the Cross Solemn Profession of Loyalty

With firm faith and before the Blessed Sacrament and these 2 witnesses, I

Do solemnly vow and affirm,

That a kingdom divided shall always fall, That the unchangeable deposit of Apostolic beliefs entrusted to St. Peter and his faithful successors is the one and only religion that may ensure a soul's salvation, That so long as the wolves continue to impersonate the true shepherds of the temporal Church as seen in false ecumenism, liberalism, modernism and innovations to the ancient liturgies both of East and West, That I will carry out all commands from the Superior of the SSJC so long as they are in keeping with the 1917 Pio-Benedictine Code of Canon Law, That I will not regard myself as released from these obligations unless letters dismissory have been provided, specifically letters that bear the seal of the Superior General of the Society of St. John of the Cross, And having answered the call of Jesus Christ through my sacred ministry, and before these witnesses both temporal and eternal, I do solemnly bind my human faculty of obedience to Him through the designated Superior of the Society of St John of the Cross, now and forever.
