Margine

Bisericile de lemn din Bihor reprezint adevrate comori de cultur romneasc. Ele pstreaz o art constructiv sacral cu rdcini adnci n istoria romnilor. Biserica din lemn, monument arhitectonic dar i lca de cult totodat, sugereaz o corabie pe care teologii o aseamn cu Arca lui Noe. Pentru romni biserica de lemn reprezint centrul vieii spirituale a comunitii rurale, n acelai timp este i dovada continuitii ortodoxiei i a tradiiilor romneti pe aceste meleaguri. De aceea, pentru noi, astzi este o datorie sacr de a proteja acest tezaur inestimabil. Profesorul Coriolan Petranu n studiul Monumentele istorice ale judeului Bihor: I. Bisericile de lemn, Sibiu 1931, avertiza c anual dispar cte dou biserici ntr-un jude, cam 40 dincoace de Carpai ceea ce nseamn c n treizeci de ani nu vom mai avea nici una (p. 6). Istoricul era pesimist, dar iat c ntr-un studiu recent (2009) se spune c n toat Romnia mai sunt 1200 de biserici de lemn, pe cnd n 1931, Coriolan Petranu numra n Ardeal i judeele limitrofe exact 1200 de lcae de cult din lemn i n Bihor 150. Astzi n Bihor mai sunt abia 70 de biserici din care 32 sunt acoperite cu tabl sau igl i cu tabl, fa de 1931 cnd abia 30 erau acoperite cu tabl. Acoperirea bisericilor de lemn cu tabl sau alte materiale afar de indril (i) este ct se poate de nepotrivit att din punct de vedere practic ct i estetic. De aceea doresc s salut cu bucurie iniiativa editurii Durans convins c acest demers editorial va veni n sprijinul acelor parohii care au n inventar biserici de lemn ntr-o stare precar. Ndjduiesc c popularizarea n rndul turitilor a tezaurului de biserici de lemn din Bihor s aduc soluii i chiar sponsorizri pentru restaurarea i ntreinerea acestor bijuterii ale credinei i ale artei romneti de pe aceste meleaguri bihorene. Scurt prezentare

The wooden churches of Bihor county represent some real treasures of the Romanian culture. They maintain a constructive sacral art which has its deep roots in the Romanian history. The wooden church, as architectural monument, but also as a place of worship, suggests a boat which, according to the theologians, is similar to Noahs Ark. For Romanian people, wooden churches represent the centre of the spiritual life of the rural community, and at the same time they are the proof of the orthodox beliefs and of the Romanian traditions continuity in this region. Therefore, in this period is a sacred duty for us to protect this priceless treasure. Professor Coriolan Petranu in his study entitled Historical Monuments of Bihor County: I. The Wooden Churches, Sibiu, 1931 (Monumentele istorice ale judeului Bihor: I. Bisericile de lemn, Sibiu 1931), warned that in each county disappear annually two of these churches, about 40 from this side of the Carpathians, which means that in thirty years well wont have any (p. 6). The historian was pessimistic, but a recent study (2009) says that in the whole Romania there are still 1200 wooden churches, while in 1931, Coriolan Petranu counted in Transylvania and in the neighbor counties exactly 1200 of wooden places of worship and in Bihor county 150. Today in Bihor there are only 70 of these wooden churches of which 32 are covered with tin or tile and tin, while in 1931 there were 30 churches covered with tin. The roof of the wooden churches made of tin or some other materials is inappropriate, from both practical and aesthetical point of view. Therefore I wish to greet the initiative of Durans publishing house, and I am convinced that this action will support those parishes which have in their inventory some wooden churches in poor conditions. I hope that the popularization of the treasure of the wooden churches of Bihor among tourists will provide solutions and even sponsoring for the restoration and maintenance of these jewels of the Romanian faith and art of this regions. A Bihar megyei fatemplomok a romn kultra igazi kincseinek szmtanak. Ezek a szakrlis ptszeti mvszetet rzik, amelynek gykerei a romn trtnelemben tallhatak meg. A fatemplom, mint ptszeti memlk s kegyhely, olyan, mint egy haj, mely a teolgusok szerint No brkjhoz hasonlt. A romnok szmra a fatemplom a vidki kzssg spiritulis letnek kzpontjt jelenti, ugyanakkor az ortodox valls s a romn hagyomnyok folytonossgnak bizonytkai. Ezrt neknk szent feladatunk, hogy ezt a felbecslhetetlen kincset megvdjk. Coriolan Petranu professzor, az 1931-ben megjelent Bihar megye trtnelmi memlkei cm tanulmnyban arra figyelmeztet, hogy vente kt fatemplom tnik el egy-egy megybl, mintegy 40 a Krptokon innen, ami azt jelenti, hogy harminc v mlva mr nem lesz egy sem (6. oldal). A trtnsz pesszimista, azonban egy nemrg, 2009-es esztendben kszlt tanulmnybl kiderl, hogy Romnia teljes terletn 1200 fatemplom tallhat, mg 1931-ben Coriolan Petranu Erdlyben s a krnykbeli megykben ugyancsak 1200 fatemplomot szmolt meg!, Biharorszgban pedig 150-et. Ma megynkben alig 70 ilyen templom tallhat, amelybl 32 bdoglemezzel s cserppel, vagy csak bdoggal van befedve, mikzben 1931-ben csupn 30 fatemplom tetejn volt bdog. A fatemplomok tetszerkezetnek befedsre alkalmas zsindely helyett a bdoglemez vagy ms anyagok sem gyakorlati, sem pedig eszttikai szempontbl nem illenek a fatemplomok hangulathoz. Ezrt fogadom nagy rmmel a Durans kiad ezen kezdemnyezst, mivel meggyzdsem, hogy ez a kiadvny felhvja a figyelmet fatemplomainkra s azokra a parkikra, melyek nyilvntartsban ezek szerepelnek.
