GB Status Checking Procedure for All Vendors

Huawei:
1. From iManager M2000 go to MML Command window

2. Check NE type is set to BSC 6900 GSM 3. Choose the required BSC name

4. Put Command Input as LST BC (It will provide info on Subrack, Slot and Port No. and Block Status etc.) 5. If Block Status is Blocked, further query is optional

6. Otherwise, type Command Input as DSP BC and put subrack, slot and port no. in the spaces given.

7. After executing, check the following i) BC Admin State (Unblock means working) ii)BC Service State (Available means working)

LMT Ericsson:
1. From Xmanager 2.0(uas:177) got to Tools AXE management toolsCommand Handling

2. Click on File tab and load the user

3. Click on Network Element. From dropdown menu choose the BSC and press Connect

4. Type rrgbp; (From there find NSEI and NSVCI.)

5. From NSVCI find the corresponding device no. (DEV1).

6. Type radep:dev=Device_no; (From there find Card no (SNT/DEVP) and Port no. (SNTINL))

7. Type ntcop:snt=Card_No; (Find Dip_no (DIP) corresponding to port no.)

8. Type Dtstp:dip=dip_no;

9. Check the status (WO means working)

Alcatel-Lucent:
1. Click on 9153 OMC-R icon

2. Click RNUSM icon.

3. Right Click on MFSLMA Choose Show Equipment

4. Select object with a bar sign in Ater Supervisiob tabRight Click on it and choose Navigate to BSSUSM

5. The corresponding Ater MUX will be automatically marked. Find the following from right side pane i) Operational Status, ii) Availability Status

6. Find the Ater TP numbers
