Ekagrata A Social Initiative by IMT Ghaziabad

Ekagrata is an institution formed by some young minds for the development of the society as a whole. The downturns and the sufferings that majority of the Indian society is going through needs to be looked upon with proper care. Money and houses is not the only solution, they need a direction or a path towards growth personal as well as professional. We as responsible citizens of the nation feel the need to devote some attention to these critical issues and try and aim for an inclusive growth of our nation. IMT Ghaziabad would want to contribute in this sector of educating the generation next and improve the competencies of the underprivileged kids. Following is the plan of action for starting the Sunday sessions: 1) Kids would be gathered from nearby locations around the campus by meeting their parents personally. 2) We would want to use college premises to accommodate around 50 kids for the session which would go on for 3 hours from 10 am to 1 pm every Sunday. 3) Volunteers would be taking care of the content design of the sessions which would include smaller sessions of Maths, English, a few games and personal interaction at the end. 4) The students would act as mentors and would be helping the kids with their academic as well as non-academic issues. 5) Track record of each and every kid would be analysed periodically to help them improve effectively and efficiently. 6) We would want to start a rupee a day campaign to fund the above stated educational campaign. 7) A rupee a day campaign Every person on campus would be requested to donate a rupee a day for this cause. Boxes for collection would be available at prime locations on campus.
