    Fall 2009 OCI GPA Statistics

    Second-year, third-year students and recent graduates participated in Fall OCI. For a list of on-campus recruiting employers by city
    and state, please visit http://www.utexas.edu/law/depts/career/prospective/oci.html.

    Preselect Student denotes those students/recent graduates that were selected for an interview by the employers;
    Alternate Students denotes those students/recent graduates that were selected as alternates by the employers. These
    students/graduates were able to schedule interviews if they became available.

    GPA is just one of the hiring criteria employers use to select students for interviews. Work experience, journal membership and other
    school participation, geographic preference and other factors are also important to the overall selection process.
