License key with license for IEDScout 2

Ensure that IEDScout 2.11 or IEDScout 3 is installed

Download IEDScoutLicenseUpgrade.exe

Plug in license key

Execute HASP Firmware Upgrade

Very early deliveries of IEDScout (2006, maybe some of 2007) came with license keys with an older rmware. These license keys will not be recognized by IEDScoutLicenseUpgrade.exe. In this case, the rmware of the license key has to be upgraded rst.

Execute IEDScoutLicenseUpgrade.exe

Specify path and name for c2v le and save

Download HASP Firmware Upgrade

Saving of c2v le successful?

Yes

Note: This message also appears when no license key is plugged in or if there was not enough time to recognize the license key.

Send c2v le to OMICRON

customer.care@omicron.at

The c2v (customer to vendor) le tells OMICRON which license key has to be upgraded.

Receive v2c le from OMICRON

The v2c (vendor to customer) le tells IEDScoutLicenseUpgrade.exe how modify the license key.

Execute IEDScoutLicenseUpgrade.exe and apply v2c le
