A country between Orient and Occident

We can consider that Romania is on the border between East and West. A century ago, it was a region lead by Phanariot. Then it became a country that was undergone by communist, then moved towoards on democracy. So we can say that Roamania was inflluenced by eastern and western. But is this true? It seems to me that Romania took over the Eastern model. Romania has and incredibile culture and a unique history, but tourism is not the strenght. Even if she has a lot to offer, like beautiful places in nature or monuments full of history, foreigners does not crowed to visit it. But not only foreigners should to blame for the lack of tourism. Inhabitants of the countries should promote de values of this country, to be proud of them and to make them know in the world. Foreigners know only the negatives things in this country. This is how we push foreigners out of our teritory. If we had more tourists the ecomony can increase, we can have more advantages than disadvantages. We become a country that retains the values and not destroy them. In conclusion, I belive that we should follow the western model. We should promote our values, to be proud of them an to conserve them as they are. This is the beauty of the tourim, to visit a country and to know the history.
