THRUST BEARINGS WERE THEN INSPECTED VISUALLY FOUND NO DAMAGED OR WEARDOWN ON THE TAPERED SURFACES OF THE BEARINGS. PERSIAN BLUE (INSTEAD OF RED LEAD PAINT) WAS USED TO DETERMINE COLLAR ON TOP OF IT. TURNING SLIGHTLY TO THE DIRECTION OF ROTOR ROTATION ON THRUST COLLAR / THRUST BEARING & RESULTED IN ACCEPTABLE. MEASUREMENTS WHICH IS GIVEN BY THE MAKER. ACCEPTABLE VALUES OF TAPERED SURFACE AGAINST THE FLAT SURFACES OF THE. THRUST BEARING. IF THE FLAT SURFACE OF THE THRUST BEARING REACHES ON THE BROKEN LINE & RESULTED TO A RATIO OF 2:1, THE THRUST BEARING SHOULD BE REPLACED IF NOT, THEN THE THRUST BEARING CAN STILL BE REUSED REGARLESS IF THERE ARE NO EXFOLIATION CRACKING & DEEP SURFACES ON THE FACE OF THE SURFACE CONTACT.
