Looking back at your preliminary, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full

product?

Font
The title font looks catchy as it is not like normal fonts is done by using word art on word.

Colour
The colour scheme I used here is purple and green as it the school colour. Here there is a purposeful colour scheme.

Genre
As the genre of this magazine is school I used heading that are school related and used alliteration at the bottom to link it to school and bring focus to the audience it is a school magazine.

Layout
The layout of this magazine is there is an image of a student in the middle and surrounding her are headlines/ stories that are being covered by the magazine.

Font
The Font of context is bold and stands out and is laid out differently so it looks different and attractive.

Genre
The genre of this magazine is school therefore it had to contain images of pupils and the school. The font used for the contents is simple clear and bold.

Colour
The colour scheme here is green, this is the school colour so therefore the school magazine had to follow the school colour in order to make it look like a magazine related to the school.

Layout
The layout of the context is all lined up and straight and is labelled clearly with page numbers.

In between stages of the Preliminary task and the final product.

I have learnt a lot in between the stages of making the Preliminary product and the final. I had learnt how to use Photoshop, scribed, prezi therefore I was able to enhance my abilities and make my final product look better than my Preliminary. Furthermore, due to more research on magazines I learnt how to layout a magazine and learn about what a magazine should contain. With all this knowledge before doing producing the final product, I was able to plan effectively and more creatively.

 In my final product I have made major changes which makes the final product more like a magazine. On my front cover I have lined all of the headings up and put different font size and I used Photoshop to edit and crop and auto correct the colour of the image I used. Furthermore, on my contents page I made a lot of improvement. On the Preliminary task I used the images and stretched them in order to make it bigger whereas in my final task I used Photoshop to make the image A4 size and used different types of font to make the writing look more attractive instead of the normal bold text which I used in my Preliminary task.
