different political ideologies and differentiating between them while understanding the aims and objectives behind them. Understanding how the political ideology affects and directs the economic policy of the country. Points Covered by ACs: 1. The questions any economy must answer are what to make, how to make it and how to distribute it and thats why a country follows a specific economic system. 2. A political ideology is a set of ideas that constitutes ones goals, expectations and actions so in turn it shapes the economic system. 3. The two dimensions of ideologies are goals and methods.

4. What political right and left mean. The difference between the two political positions and the main highlights in their beliefs. 5. Liberalism and its goal of abolishing nobility and giving absolute freedom in terms of liberty and equality. 6. Capitalism as an economic system which translates the beliefs of the liberal ideology. 7. The USA as an example of fighting for human rights and the development of the liberal movement over the years in the country. 8. Socialism as an ideology that promotes the workers right to rule. 9. Communism as an ideology that takes economic equality to an extreme promoting distributing everything in the economy equally regardless of everyones contribution to the economy. 10. History of communism over the years and the formation of the Soviet Union.

11. Social Liberalism as a moderate stance between extreme socialism and extreme liberalism. 12. France as a contemporary example on practicing the newly developed social liberalism. 13. The Islamic ideology and its development over the modern history in Egypt. 14. The Muslim brotherhood as dominant contributor to the political islam practices. 15. Principles of Islamic Economy including Zakat, Interest Free Economy, Rights of Private Ownership and Community Development. 16. Secularism and separation of state and religion. 17. Secular states around the world. 18. Anarchism and Market Abolitionism as a limited ideology which is not applicable on a wide scale.
