Dear Sir, ASM International Chennai Chapter and NACE Gateway India Section South Zone are jointly organizing a Training Course on rrosion Prevention and Control at IIT Madras during February 14 & 15, 2012, focusing on educating the fundamentals, applications and preventive strategies of various types of corrosion experienced in industry. The course is structured in a way that the persons attending will gain first hand information from basics to specialized knowledge on corrosion and its manifestation, and the prevention strategies to overcome corrosion related failures. Faculties are drawn from reputed institutions and industries viz., IIT Madras, IGCAR, NML, NIOT and CECRI, Akzo Nobel, Berger Paints, Cortech etc. with long standing experiences on the subjects. This two day course would provide an excellent avenue for corrosion practitioners, researchers, designers, technical managers, inspection and maintenance engineers, quality control personnel and those involved in failure analysis to update their knowledge on corrosion and its prevention through materials selection and design, coatings, alloying, etc. I am sending herewith the course broucher as an attachment.
