ABSTRACT

The study is mainly to find out the awareness level about ICICI Lombard in Cochin circle. This is done by finding out the awareness level, usage and satisfaction of customers with their current insurance provider

The research study conducted is descriptive in nature and the sample size used for this study is 250. Primary data is collected to meet the requirements. For collecting the data, a structured questionnaire method is used as an instrument. The

questionnaire is based on multiple choice and close-ended questions.

The study is mainly based on the primary data and the required primary data were collected through the structured questionnaire from the two fifty sample respondents who were selected through the simple random sampling method. In this study simple percentage and weighted average are used to interpret the data collected.

The difficulty encountered while conducting the survey was time constraint difficulty in getting appointments with customers and in some case employees didnt know about their insurance provider. The study reveals that awareness level about the ICICI Lombard is high. But there exist a large variation between its market share and awareness level. So relevant suggestions are made to improve this variation.
