Romans 15:1-4

We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good,to build him up. For even Christ did not please himself but,as it is written:"The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me." For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,so that through endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Proverbs 16:18
Pride goes before destruction haughty spirit before a fall.

Romans 15:5-7
May the god who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Accept one another, then, just as CHRIST accepted you in order to bring praise to GOD.

Romans 16:17-19
I urge you brothers to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.

Ephesians 4:11
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers.

1 Corinthians 12:28

And in the church God as appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.

1 Corinthians 3:1-3
Brothers I could not address you as spiritual but as world-mere infants in Christi gave you milk not solid food, for you were not ready for it. Indeed you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you are you not worldly?

1 Timothy 5:21
I charge you in the sight of God and Jesus Christ and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism.

Romans 12:11
For God does not show favoritism.
