Biography of Mario Moreno

In 1911, Mario Moreno better known as Cantinflas, was born in Mexico, he was a comedian from Mexico. One time, Charlie Chaplin called Cantinflas the 'funniest man in the world'. Cantinflas did not start his professional life as an entertainer. In fact, it is a little known fact that Cantinflas was in the military and later, also a professional boxer. Next he dedicated himself to the entertainment world, as a dancer. Later in 1936, Mario Moreno made his debut in the theater and it was in 1940, that Cantinflas finally became a movie star. Following that, in the artistic life performed around 50 films, including the most famous are: El patrullero 777, El barrendero, El seor Doctor, El analfabeto, Sube y Baja. He had good humor, faith, strength and determination incredible, to carry out all his plans and projects, in his childhood he was passionate to cartoons and years later in his career.
