OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDYIn todays rapidly changing business environment, a company must continuously be in advantageous position over its

rival in the industry to be successful. In order to gain sustained competitive advantages, a company must have an excellent management team to create those sustained competitive advantages by the best utilization of internal strengths, and taking advantage of market opportunities while minimizing external threats to the company and overcoming internal weaknesses. Therefore, the human capital, the people behind every process is the single most important part of a company. The management team must be capable of implementing strategies for creating best products, making improvement of technology, controlling costs factors, taking advantage of market environment, and sustaining profitability. The primary objective of this study would be to describe, discuss and identify the processes necessary for DRB-Hicom to make Proton a profitable company through changes in the organization, to create and execute well-planned strategies. The specific objectives of the study are to: - Identify the factors influencing student perceptions about the programs and the services offered by the institute. - Evaluate the current situation at Proton. - Discuss benefits of management structuring. - Describe processes involved in management restructuring. - Analyze appropriate Organizational Change and Development (OCD) models for DRBHicom. - Provide recommendations on the actions and strategies that DRB-Hicom should take in order to implement a successful action plan leading to creation and execution of strategies for the success of Proton both in short-term turnaround and long-term sustainability.
