INTRODUCTION The English Language Carnival is one of the program that was introduced by the Ministry of Education. It is hoped that with the introduction of this carnival, young pupils will have the chance to explore and learn english the fun way through the activities provided. For Merotai Zone, the activities that was being planned for the carnival are action song competition,

storytelling competition and public speaking competition. Through these fun and enjoyable competitions, we hope to create awareness of the pupils on the importance of english language. The cooperation of all the schools in Merotai zone are needed to ensure the smooth running and success of the competitions and the carnival itself. PROGRAM English Language Carnival Merotai Zone

OBJECTIVES 1. To encourage the use of English Language among the pupils. 2. To Build confidence and sense of ease with English Language among the pupils. 3. To encourage the development of oral communication skills among the pupils. 4. To promote the use of plain English. 5. To provide platform for fun and happy learning.

PARTICIPATION Open and compulsory to all the primary school in Merotai zone. TENTATIVE PROGRAM 7.30am - 8.00am 8.00am 8.30am Program launch by Tuan Haji Dahlan Haji Suman, Headmaster of SK Merotai Kecil, Tawau. Breakfast for all the contestants, judges and teachers involve.

Compilation and finalzing of the marks and final score by chief judges. Prize giving ceremony. Program ends.
