Postdoctoral Position in Plant Genomics & Bioinformatics Michigan State University is one of the top institutions for plant

science research and a postdoctoral position in plant genomics and bioinformatics is available in the laboratory of C. Robin Buell in the Department of Plant Biology (http://buell-lab.plantbiology.msu.edu/). The candidate will work on funded projects involving structural, functional and comparative genomics of the Poaceae and work with bioinformatics staff, lab technicians, postdoctoral fellows and students within the Buell laboratory. Opportunities are available for the postdoctoral fellow to assess genomic diversity, profile expression patterns, perform network analyses, and pursue functional genomics of the grass species, rice, maize, and switchgrass. A Ph. D. degree in plant biology, genetics, genomics, and/or bioinformatics is required. Experience in genomics preferred but not required.
